Continúa la fuga de concejales del Partido Socialista en el Ayuntamiento de Huelva.La última renuncia de la corporación socialista ha sido la de la concejala María Villadeamigo, que dimite supuestamente por «motivos ajenos al cargo». La concejala ha presentado esta misma mañana su renuncia al acta y ha querido dejar claro que “tras esta decisión sólo reside la necesidad de emprender una nueva etapa». Una auténtica desbandada de concejales socialistas en Huelva y ya son 9 con la renuncia de Villadeamigo.

La hasta ahora concejal socialista entró a formar parte de la Corporación Municipal en 2011. En el mandato 2015-2019 fue segunda teniente alcalde de Economía y Hacienda del Ayuntamiento de Huelva y de 2019-2023 ejerció como primera teniente de alcalde de Economía, Presidencia y Relaciones Institucionales.
Jonathan Pérez, que será quien sustituirá a María Villadeamigo como concejal del Grupo Municipal Socialista, ha sido coordinador del área de Infraestructuras y Servicios Públicos durante el primer mandato del anterior Gobierno socialista (2015-2019) y coordinador de la Concejalía de Turismo en la anterior legislatura (2019-2023). Actualmente forma parte de la Ejecutiva Municipal del PSOE de Huelva capital como secretario de Acción Electoral.
