Cinco alumnos onubenses, uno de ellos de Isla Cristina,van a representar a la provincia en la próxima fase regional de las Olimpiadas Matemáticas organizadas por la Sociedad Andaluza de Enseñanza Matemática Thales dirigidas al alumnado de 2º de la ESO.
Se trata del alumno del IES Miravent Andrés Soldevila Vicente quien participaba junto a otro alumno del IES Galeón, Abel Hernández Pereira, que quedó semifinalista convirtiéndose en uno de los diez mejores.
Desde el Ayuntamiento, tanto la Delegada de Educación, María del Carmen Beltrán, como el Alcalde, Jenaro Orta, quieren felicitar a los dos alumnos «por haber llegado hasta aquí» y, especialmente, a Andrés Soldevila al que le desean «lo mejor en la fase regional y que de allí vaya a la nacional.» Asimismo, ambos ediles quieren destacar «el esfuerzo de sus familias y la implicación de los propios centros en este tipo de acciones que permitir que nuestros alumnos y alumnas aprendan, se diviertan y cumplan sus sueños.»
Y es que las Olimpiadas Matemáticas organizadas por SAEM Thales, sirven de revulsivo para demostrar que con las matemáticas «te diviertes aprendiendo, resolviendo problemas y encontrando su parte más lúdica, el juego.»
El joven es uno de los cinco alumnos onubenses que competirán en la fase regional en este certamen organizado por la Sociedad Andaluza de Enseñanza Matemática Thales
